The third and final Twenty20 International between Pakistan and South Africa will be played on Sunday (today) at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
The three-match series is currently level at 1-1 after South Africa beat Pakistan by six wickets last night. Batting second, the Proteas chased down the 145-run target easily with 22 balls to spare.
Earlier, Pakistan had won the first match by three runs courtesy Mohammad Rizwan’s century.
The wicketkeeper-batsman went on to score another half century in the second T20I before getting dismissed by Dwaine Pretorius, who was awarded Player of the Match for bowling his career best – taking five dismissals to lead his side to a comfortable victory against the hosts.
The decider on Sunday will mark the end of South Africa cricket team’s tour of Pakistan. The Proteas landed in Pakistan a month earlier to play two Tests and three T20Is.
Pakistan clean swept the two-match Test series 2-0, beating them both in Karachi and Rawalpindi.
