In the second innings, New Zealand with a loss of one wicket have scored 17 in the first five overs against India. 

India were bowled out for 179 in 39.2 overs setting a target of 180 for New Zealand to win their first warmup match. 

India in their first ICC World Cup 2019 warm-up match won the toss against New Zealand and opted to bat at The Oval on Saturday.

The Indian team holds two World Cup titles under their wing while New Zealand has yet to get hold of its maiden title with the former having bagged winning titles in four consecutive ODI series including the Asia Cup till their defeat against Australia in October 2015.

India enters the ICC World Cup 2019 eyeing the trophy as their chief players including captain Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya being in impeccable form.

On the other hand, New Zealand had lost the ODI series against India on their home ground but had later gone on to clean-sweep against Bangladesh.
