Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani on Saturday denied Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) president, Sourav Ganguly's, claim regarding the Asia Cup 2020 being staged in the UAE instead of Pakistan, the Indian Express reported.

Mani told the Indian publication that the decision to move the tournament from Pakistan to the UAE was not final and that there were "other options" of staging the Cup, which is scheduled for September.

"A final decision will be taken bearing in mind the interests of all the Asian countries. We have a few options," he said.

Earlier, Ganguly had claimed that the Asia Cup was being staged in Dubai and had 'confirmed' both India as well as Pakistan's participation.

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan were given hosting rights for this year’s Asia Cup, however, India are unwilling to travel to the country and insisted that it be staged on a neutral venue.
