PSL 2020: PCB to give out whopping $1m in cash prizes

Winners of PSL 2020 will receive a cheque of $500k along with the prestigious trophy

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday announced that the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 will carry a total cash prize of $1 million.

According to a PCB press release, winners of the PSL 2020 final will receive a cheque of $500,000 along with the trophy while the runner-ups will be awarded $200,000.

Furthermore, $4,500 each will be given to the 34 men of the matches, while $80,000 will be distributed equally among the player of the tournament, best batsman, best bowler and Spirit of Cricket award winner.

The remaining amount will be given to the winners of other awards such as best catch, best run-out and most sixes.

The PSL 2020 is set to begin on Thursday at Karachi’s Gaddafi Stadium.
