PSL 2020: Shahid Afridi extends support to Shan Masood

Multan Sultans’ Shahid Afridi on Monday extended his support to the side’s skipper Shan Masood ahead of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020.

The veteran cricketer also hailed the batsman for his form and hoped for an optimistic result under his regime. 

"He [Shan Masood] is in very good form; he will definitely put up a good performance," he said.

"I hope that we see a successful run under his captaincy."

Meanwhile the former skipper, who is also the side’s mentor, revealed that he had never thought of being an advisor.

"I had never thought of being a mentor but I now have the added responsibility," he said.

"Furthermore, the captain and coach have their expectations from me and I will do my best to live up to it."

Besides this, Afridi said that his side has a string of talent which made for a "very good" combination. 

"We have a line-up of talented players and the combination is very good," he said.
