LAHORE: Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, is expected to attend the T20 World Cup final in the West Indies.

The ICC has extended invitations to all board members for the final match, which is scheduled to be held in Barbados on June 29. 

In addition to the final, an ICC meeting is also planned, bringing together key figures from the cricketing world.

Naqvi is in the United States participating in important United Nations meetings in his capacity as the Interior Minister. According to sources, he may travel to the West Indies following these engagements to be present for the T20 World Cup final and the associated ICC meetings.

The schedule for the T20 World Cup 2024 final has been confirmed after India defeated England by 68 runs in the second semi-final at Guyana's Providence Stadium.

Rohit Sharma and Co, took their revenge of 2022 and set up the final against South Africa, who defeated Afghanistan by nine wickets in the first semi-final in Tarouba. Both teams are undefeated in the competition.

The iconic Kensington Oval in Barbados will host the final on June 29.
