Former West Indies pacer Ian Bishop predicted the semi-finalists of the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024, co-hosted by the United States and the West Indies.

While talking to ESPNCricinfo, the 56-year-old named West Indies, England, India and Australia as his top four sides.

Meanwhile, he also thinks that Virat Kohli's record of scoring the most runs in a single season of the T20 World Cup will also be broken.

In the 2014 edition in Bangladesh, Kohli smashed 319 runs with the help of four fifties at an average of 106.33.

The first ICC T20 World Cup 2024 match will be between the USA and Canada on Saturday, June 1.

West Indies will host 40 games while the USA will stage 15 games.

All the teams will be divided into four groups; A, B, C, and D. The two teams at the top of each group will qualify for the Super Eight round. Following that, the Super Eight will be split into two groups, with the top two teams from each group moving on to the semifinals.

The final is scheduled for June 29.
