Veteran fast bowler Wahab Riaz on Tuesday said that he had no plans of retiring, adding that he was ready to fire on all cylinders in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020, reported Daily Express.

"I will play for my country until I have the strength and will to do so," he said to local media.

The 34-year-old, who plays for the Peshawar Zalmi, said that his skills with the ball were up to the mark and added that he would put on a good show in the PSL 2020.

"I think my skills are the best, I am trying to do the same with batting as well."

Zalmi, who ended up as the runners-up in last year's edition, were handed a marginal eight-wicket loss by the Quetta Gladiators with 13 balls to spare.

The pacer equated the PSL to a "war" and said that he would be delivering in all departments to ensure a victory for his side.

"We had lost by a very small margin, which was upsetting. However, winning the PSL title is like winning a war so I will give my best," he said.
