Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi has provided an updated on his teammate Haris Rauf, who had an injury scare while completing Hasan Ali's catch in the tenth game of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine against Karachi Kings.

Haris came from the long-off and hurt himself while tumbling to the ground. Initially, it looked like the catch was not taken but the third umpire adjudged as out.

He had an elastic bandage around the shoulder of his right hand and was taken out of the field. After the game, Shaheen said that the 30-year-old is injured.

"Haris Rauf is injured, he bowled really well today and I hope he recovers soon. I don't know the extent of his injury, but we're praying for him," he said.

It must be noted Karachi Kings secured a thrilling two-wicket victory against Lahore Qalandars at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The Kings successfully chased down the target of 176 runs on the final ball of the last over, dealing Qalandars their fourth consecutive defeat of the season.

11 runs were needed in the final over with Hasan Ali and Irfan Khan Niazi in the middle with spinner Ahsan Bhatti bowling the over for the Kings.

Hasan smacked six to reduce the margin to five runs. The duo chipped in with singles and a double but Haris Rauf's stunning catch gave Qalandars hope.

Mir Hamza faced the final delivery with one needed for the final bowl. His inside edge put Kings across the finish line.

The Kings didn't have a great start to the chase, losing four wickets in the powerplay.

Kieron Pollard partnered with Shoaib Malik in the middle to build a partnership.

The pair accumulated 95 runs for the fifth wicket, with Pollard scoring 58 off 33 balls, including five sixes and a four. Malik anchored with 39 off 32 balls, while Irfan Khan remained not out on 12 off 10 balls.

Earlier, Shan Masood opted to bat first with Sahabzada Farhan leading Qalandars to a great total after a slow start, lifting the team’s total to 175 in their allocated 20 overs. Farhan carried his bat through the innings with an unbeaten 72 off 45, including four boundaries and as many sixes.

Meanwhile, Linde scored 26 runs at a strike rate of 200, with the help of three boundaries, including one six.
