Legendary cricketer Javed Miandad has demanded that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) be held accountable for its recent string of decisions, Daily Jang reported on Friday.

Miandad, one of the most vocal critics of PCB's domestic structure reforms, was speaking at the University of Karachi on Thursday when he lashed out at the board and its new management.

"People imported from foreign countries are taking all the decisions," the 1992 World Cup winner bemoaned.

It is pertinent to mention here that the PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani and CEO Wasim Khan were both based abroad before their appoints, and Miandad's dig was likely aimed at them.

"The time has come to hold the PCB accountable," he added.

Miandad also criticised the PCB decision to appoint Misbahul Haq as both the chief selector and the head coach of the national team.

"It is not right to give dual roles to Misbahul Haq," he said. "First, give him the experience, then give him whatever you want to give him."
