Kid writes poem on Wasim Akram, and Sultan of Swing approves

A kid penned a poem about the bowling wizardry of Wasim Akram, and the word got to the bowling legend himself, thanks to the magic of social media.

The Sultan of Swing not only ready the poem, he also acknowledged the boy’s effort saying: “So sweet! This boy knows his stuff.”

Let’s read a verse:

Wasim Akram is the fast bowler king,

He is well-known for his swing,

Wasim Akram has plenty of pace,

To undo the batsman’s lace

Good thing is that the poem does not have a “Wasim Akram can hit a sixer” line because rhyming that would have been totally awkward.
