World Test Championship 2023 final to be hosted by The Oval in June 2023

KARACHI: The Oval will host the 2023 World Test Championship Final in June 2023, while Lord's will host the 2025 World Test Championship Final.

The two London locations will take the place of Southampton, which saw the inaugural final between India and New Zealand in 2021. The World Test Championship's inaugural competition saw New Zealand triumph.

The World Test Championship's top two teams will compete in the final, which will be held at The Oval in June 2023. The ICC Men's Champions Trophy finals from both the 2004 and 2017 editions were formerly held at The Oval.

A number of teams are chasing Australia and South Africa, the top two teams in the standings, in an effort to overtake them.

South Africa is in second place with 60% of the points, ahead of Australia with 70%. In the current cycle, Australia and South Africa will also face off against one another in a three-match series in December and January. This matchup could have a significant impact on the final points standings.

The top three scorers are Sri Lanka (53.33%), India (52.08%), and Pakistan (51.85%). There could be many changes in the points table before the two finalists are chosen because there are still many series left in the current cycle.

The 2019 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup final and other high-profile ICC games have both been held at Lord's in London, the location of the upcoming edition's Final.
