DUBAI: Pakistan's former head coach Mickey Arthur believes that Pakistan's bowling attack in T20Is is the world's best.
Speaking to Cricinfo ahead of Pakistan's clash with Hong Kong in a group A game in T20 Asia Cup today, Arthur said Pakistan's bowling battery has all the ingredients of a world-class attack.
"I do think that Pakistan have world's best T20I bowling attack," said Arthur. "They bowl exceptionally well with the new ball and possess the ability to dominate in death overs. Starting from Haris Rauf to Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Mohammad Hasnain, Wasim Jr and Hasan Ali [if fit], they all can bowl over 140+kph," the former coach explained.
"It's not easy to bat in front of bowlers who can bowl over 140+kph. The pace frightens batters and a captain, having all pacers with such a speed, has a real luxury," he added.
While talking about spinners, Arthur thinks Shadab is doing good whereas the inclusion of Mohammad Nawaz has further strengthened Pakistan's bowling in T20Is.
"Pakistan have a really good wrist spinner in the form of Shadab Khan. He has grip on bowling googly and can take wickets frequently,
"Nawaz is also a good addition as a finger spinner. Overall, Pakistan have a complete balanced bowling line," he concluded.
