AHMEDABAD: England's star batter Jos Butler shines again as Rajasthan Royals thrash Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to reach the mega final of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

After winning the toss, RR won the toss and restricted RCB to a 158-run target.

Butler wreaked havoc in Ahmedabad as he smashed a 60-ball 106 to help his side beat RCB to set up the final clash with Gujarat Titans, scheduled to take place on Sunday, 29th May.

In pursuit of the modest target, opening pair Yashasvi Jaiswal 21 (13), and skipper Sanju Samson 23 (21) also contributed.

Josh Hazlewood was the only one who delivered with the ball for RCB, claiming two wickets and giving away only 23 runs in four overs bowled.

Earlier, Rajat Patidar's fifty had guided RCB to a challenging 157/8 in 20 overs against RR.

Patidar led the RCB with 58 runs, while skipper Du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell each contributed 25 and 24 runs.
