Pakistan young pace sensation Mohammad Hasnain, who bowled a triple-wicket maiden on his Big Bash League (BBL) debut against Adelaide Strikers, will miss Sydney Thunders' clash with Perth Scorchers on Thursday (today).

In a statement, Sydney Thunders said: "Pace bowler Muhammad Hasnain – who took three wickets in the first over of his BBL debut during Thunder’s last start win over Adelaide – is unavailable for the match against Perth due to Queensland border restrictions."

"The 21-year-old is preparing to join the squad when it arrives in Melbourne later this week," it added.

Hasnain delivers dream first over on BBL debut

Pakistan pace ace Mohammad Hasnain shined on his Big Bash League (BBL) debut as he completed his three-wicket maiden over against Adelaide Strikers.

Hasnain took three wickets in his first over in the BBL.

He dismissed Matt Short in the second ball of his first over to claim his maiden BBL wicket.

The right-arm quick sent Adelaide Strikers' opener Jake Weatherald back to the pavilion after trapping him for an lbw.

After Jake, Jonathan Wells fell victim to the Pakistani speedster, who tried to pull a short delivery, but was caught by Ben Cutting.
