Squash legend Jahangir Khan has advised Pakistan cricket team to be consistent with their effort in World Cup 2019 matches — a trait he believes would see them go all the way to the final.

“Pakistan still have a chance of qualifying for the semi-finals but for that I want them to be fighting throughout the match,” said Jahangir, who was at the Lord's on Sunday to see Pakistan take on South Africa.

Jahangir was known for his discipline and valour that led him to win 10 British Open titles as well as six World Open titles.

“What I have seen in the previous games was that the team lacked aggression, especially against India,” he added.

“This team has talent so I am confident that it will bounce back as the whole nation wants them in the semi-final and then in the final.

Pakistan are in a difficult spot as they need to win the four contests ahead of them in order to qualify for the semi-finals.
