Internet trolls memefy Imran Tahir's over-the-top celebration against Pakistan

South Africa legspinner was superb against Pakistan but fans are having a laugh at his expense.

LONDON: The ICC World Cup 2019 has been packed with moments that have quickly been turned into memes and gone viral.

In today's match between Pakistan and South Africa, Imran Tahir caught and bowled Imam-ul-Haq.

In usual Tahir fashion, he celebrated by sprinting across the field with his arms wide open.

Earlier, he took a catch that at first had seemed clean but was later adjudged not out on account of the ball having touched the ground before Tahir grabbed it.

Tahir of course had broken into his trademark celebration between the time the catch was taken (or not!) and it was ruled illegal. Those two moments were plenty for internet jokers to pull out hilarious memes.
