PSL 2019: Quetta Gladiators thrash Multan Sultans by 8 wickets

SHARJAH: Shane Watson and Rilee Rossouw helped Quetta Gladiators to continue winning streak with victory over Multan Sultans in a comfortable 161 run-chase at at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.

Quetta Gladiators won by eight wickets in 18th over, with Watson's blitz of 61 runs off 40 balls, including 11 boundaries. While Rossouw smashed 67 off 45 with 10 boundaries. Umar Akmal contributed 17 runs off 18 balls in the run chase.

Muhammad Irfan Junior and Shahid Afridi took one wicket each from Sultans in the encounter. 

Quetta Gladiators had won the toss and opted to field first against Multan Sultans in the eighth match of Pakistan Super League's (PSL) fourth edition in Sharjah.
