Bayern Munich have agreed to pay Fulham £47.4 million for midfielder João Palhinha.
This will represent a club record sale for Fulham, with £43.2 million paid upfront and a further £4.2 million in add-ons.
Bayern have had a long-standing interest in the 28-year-old, having pursued a move for him since last summer.
Fulham turned down an offer from West Ham last year as well, but the Portuguese international had made it clear he wished to join Bayern after a transfer to the club fell through at the last minute in August, despite undergoing a medical examination.
Palhinha is currently at Euro 2024 with Portugal, who are set to play France in the quarter-finals of the competition. He will undergo his new medical examination once his involvement in the tournament is over and will sign a four-year contract.
He joined Fulham from Sporting Lisbon in 2022 for a fee of approximately £17m, and won the club's Player of the Year award during his debut season at Craven Cottage.
Palhinha made 79 appearances over two seasons in west London, scoring eight goals.
Meanwhile, Bayern are continuing negotiations with Crystal Palace for Michael Olise.
The France U21 international, who reportedly wants to play for his country at the Olympics later this month, is keen on joining Vincent Kompany's team. However, the details of the transfer and commission fees are still being finalised.
The Bundesliga side have also initiated talks to sell Matthijs De Ligt to Manchester United as they look to bring in Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen.
