The 2024 Wimbledon is set to begin on July 1 and it will continue till July 14 and some of the biggest names like Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka and others will be in action.
Alcaraz is the current men’s singles Wimbledon champion as he clinched his maiden title after a long five-set battle last year against Djokovic and the Spaniard would be eager to continue his great form as he has already added the 2024 Roland Garros to his growing trophy cabinet.
On the other hand, Marketa Vondrousova is the defending champion of women’s singles at Wimbledon and she will begin her campaign on July 2 in a match against Jessica Bouzas.
Men’s singles
Jannik Sinner recently dethroned Djokovic as the world No. 1 and the Italian sure is one of the biggest favourites to lift the title. He clinched his maiden Grand Slam title this year by winning the Australian Open in January.
However, things will not be that easy for him as he is expected to face strong competition from Djokovic, Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev and others.

Women’s singles
With her 19-match win streak, Iga Swiatek will begin her Wimbledon campaign as the world No. 1 and despite never winning a WTA title on grass, she remains one of the favourites for this year’s title.
Other than the Pole, Sabalenka is another favourite to win the title as she has already won one Grand Slam this year — the Australian Open. Elena Rybakina is another name who could go all the way to lift the title.
